The Bines
Beer is made from just four ingredients: water, malted barley, hops and yeast. It’s the hops and the barley that give Czech beer its character. And who has the best hops? Why the Czechs do of course. Where grapes grow on vines, hops grows on bines.
Many have heard of the Saaz variety (named after its growing region) but there are several lesser known types such as Bohemie, Sladek and Kasbek that offer unique new adventures in flavour to brewers willing to try them to create a distinctive brew. Malt is key as well and there the Czechs excel too. We have teamed with the premier supplier of Czech malt to help our home and commercial brewing clients to succeed with their all-Czech brews.
