Vinařství Mlynek was founded in 1945 by the current winemaker’s grandfather and rebranded in 2006. It produces about 30,000 bottles annually with a focus on classic Czech white varietals, namely Grüner Veltliner, Ryzlink Rynský (Riesling), and Ryzlink Vlašsky (Welschriesling). They also produce very good reds such as Pinot Noir. The winery is located in the sub-region of Mikulov | Moravia.
Filip Mlynek is the winemaker. He was Czech Winemaker of the Year in 2014 and trained for 30 months under Franz Kunstler in Germany.
This wine is 100% Pinot Noir from grapes grown in the Brodsko plot in the prestigious wine sub-region Mikulov.
